Help for All People is an Illinois-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals rebuild stable, productive lives after experiencing homelessness or institutional placement. We are governed by an active Board of Directors and operate within Cook and Will County.

The Reality

The Need

Many individuals returning from shelters, incarceration, or other institutional settings face significant barriers to independence, including:

Lack of stable housing

Limited digital literacy

Difficulty navigating online job systems

Limited resume and interview skills

Gaps in financial literacy

Without structured support, many remain at risk of continued instability.

Our Solution

Pathways to Stability is a small-scale transitional housing program serving 5–10 residents at a time in a structured residential setting.

Estimated Opening: The estimated time of opening the transitional housing will be the fall of 2027.

Residents will receive:

Resume development and job application support

Interview preparation

Financial literacy instruction

Case management and accountability planning

Employment placement assistance

Our small cohort model allows individualized support and measurable progress.

Property Need

We are currently seeking:

A 5–10-bedroom residential property
OR
A small 4–12-unit apartment building
OR
A mixed-use building with residential capacity

Located within Cook or Will County and appropriately zoned.

Property donation or partnership opportunities are welcomed and may provide potential tax advantages to the donor.
